Software & Design created a software package called EMS or the Medical System. Parkmed has used EMS since 1995, when was hired as its software developer.

EMS is designed to facilitate patient flow through the medical center, to make and track appointments,to monitor and announce the need for follow-ups, and to record services and bill payers (including all New York State commercial insurance and Medicaid).

In addition, EMS includes an advanced custom report writer, automated payment reconciliation, document processing, an electronic chart, patient tracking, entry of lab tests and test results, a patient hotline log, and much more.

The software tools created to suit the task are robust and simple, an elegent solution to Parkmed's office automation needs.
